WARD SEVEN

**It is 3:07 in the morning on Ward Seven. Every screen shows a steady green line. Every bed is empty. A voice on the speaker keeps saying: stay on the ward, keep them safe, keep going. I'm right here.**

You are Nurse Ellie, the only one on the night shift, and twelve patients are missing. Find them. Bring them back. And do not let a single line go flat.

**WARD SEVEN** is a short, story-driven **pixel-art horror roguelike**. Work your way through four floors of St. Aubrey's - the ward, radiology, the operating theatre and the generator room below - sending a shock pulse around you to clear out the things that wander the corridors after dark. Your COMPOSURE drains as the building whispers, and when it runs out, the static starts walking. Flatline, and you wake at the nurses' station. Every time you wake, the ward remembers a little more, and so do you.

**WHAT YOU DO**

- Do your rounds across four floors, each ending in a boss that speaks to you.

- Fight with a ring-shaped shock pulse. Stay close, stay calm, and keep your COMPOSURE up by clearing the room.

- Raise a barrier when the corridor closes in.

- Pick supplies from 17 pieces of kit (Crash Cart, Lucky Badge, Mug of Tea, Danny's Coat...) and build a different run every time.

- Spend get-well CARDS on 8 permanent upgrades and raise the difficulty once you have seen the end.

- Meet 8 strange events - a cup of tea, a walking Slinky, a hand on the bed rail, a man reading aloud.
